Desi is done with swimming camp, so he is spending this week with us. Timothy is done with day camp, so he is spending the mornings this week with us. Natasha and Andrew spent yesterday here too. Laura and her children are spending a week with Bonnie and Paul. That’s seven cousins and Natasha, at almost 10, is the oldest. Yesterday, Bonnie, Laura, Owen, Cole and Molly came up here in morning for some fun. The kids started out in the living room playing with toys and quickly moved to the gravel pile where they could dig. Molly mostly supervised from her green chair. After some time spent in the pool (I was in with them so there’s no pictures) we dried off and had lunch. From left to right: Desi, Andrew, Timothy, Natasha, Molly held by Laura, Cole and Owen.
After lunch, Laura’s kids needed naps, so we were down to four cousins in the pool. Here Wes is holding two pool noodles a small distance apart and Desi is jumping into the pool between the noodles. They all thought that was great fun, even Andrew, who just jumped over noodles into the pool
I love Timothy’s position in the air as he’s jumping between the noodles. Natasha did it too, but I didn’t get a good picture of her doing it.
Everyone got a bit shivery from the cool pool water, so they basked in the sun a bit and munched popcorn.
Here’s Andrew and Desi playing a game on Natasha’s Kindle. I love the happy looks on their faces.
Wes saw on Facebook that it was cousin’s day yesterday. We certainly celebrated in style!
Looks like everyone is happy to be there! Reminds me when we were kids going to Grandma’s in the summer so we could play with our cousins.
