On a trip to Kingston yesterday, I convinced Wes I would be eternally happy if we stopped at a couple of thrift stores. The Salvation Army is huge inside, neatly arranged and there were lots of people shopping inside. I headed right for the glassware/kitchen/dishes shelves and found this darling teacup. I loved the floral design and the handle with an attitude.
The watering can was just so cool, not big and clunky, kind of, dare I say, ladylike. I have it sitting on the wood beam in the front garden, but it probably will be moved if I find a better spot. Filled with wild flowers, it would be a very cute vase, too.
We also stopped at Goodwill, and while there was some cute stuff there too, I was happy with the treasures I had already bought.
Our next to last stop was the Saugerties library. There is a large bush of these wild type roses with a heavenly fragrance. It’s worth a trip to town just for a sniff.
