On Saturday evening, Wes, Bonnie, Paul and I drove to Woodstock for dinner. It was perfect weather to be seated outside at Yum Yum’s Noodle Bar. There were bushes and flowering plants separating us from the street making it seem private and cozy.
Bonnie posed with a hibiscus. I can’t decide which is prettier.
The second picture is our appetizers ( slightly out of focus). A zucchini tempura something which was delicious and on the right, veggie dumplings with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. After dinner we walked around town a bit. This is the giant drip candle in Candlestock.
Also in Candlestock is this neat display of candles for sale.
A lovely flower garden in front of a shop. This tree is in front of Joshua’s Restaurant. I wonder how they got all the lights up so high and I wouldn’t want to be the one changing out blown bulbs.
After a stop in Taco Juan’s for ice cream, we ambled back to the car along well lit sidewalks.
We hadn’t been in Woodstock for quite a while. The dinner, the walk, the ice cream, the company–what a nice treat!
