As it started to get dark yesterday, it occurred  to me that I had totally forgotten to take pictures of the the finished cat quilt for a blog post. Here’e hoping I remember today. So, here’s the hen block I finished yesterday.  Twenty one pieces and it went together very easily.

I also sewed a milk can block, but didn’t like my fabric choice for the metal part of the can.  That one went in the garbage and I have re-cut the block.

This cool weather makes me happy.  I roasted butternut squash yesterday and made it into a pot of soup.  It was delicious for dinner.  Now I have the urge to dig out all my soup recipes.  I may be jumping the gun just a bit.
