Our church is having a bake/yard/mum sale today so yesterday was baking day. I made more of the pumpkin spice cupcakes and two loaves of pumpkin bread.
And then, because I still had some pumpkin left in the can, I found a recipe for iced pumpkin spice cookies. Usually, I wouldn’t try a new recipe on unsuspecting bake sale customers, but Wes and I tried these after I baked them and liked them. I can’t figure out how I missed icing that one cookie, but I had already tossed the rest of the icing, so I ate it. They’re good without frosting too.
And then, Raven had asked me to make cookie dough filled cupcakes for her to take to work. My kitchen fridge is full of plates of cookies and the garage fridge is full of cupcakes. The sink was full of dishes. It’s a good thing Wes doesn’t mind helping out by washing them.
