Wes planted a few mums in the front gardens. A little piece broke off, so it he put it in the little vase on the kitchen windowsill. I came home to this happy sight when I washed my hands. I think I’ll keep him. 
Wash day purples or I’m in a color rut with my clothes. 
Cathy and I drove to Bennington, Vermont on Saturday to attend the Quiet Valley Quilters’ Guild annual show. There were lots of beautiful quilts, but this one really caught my eye. (probably because of all the purples)
I took a close up of the block so I could re-create it, which will be very easy.
Now, to dig into the purples…….
