red tipped maple leafWes and I packed peanut butter sandwiches and drove to the Ulster County Park yesterday for lunch.  We left our house amid sunshine, spent an hour at the park where it was cloudy, and as we left , it was sunny again.
The river was calm while we ate, but then a breeze kicked up and it was choppy.

The maple trees are just showing the tiniest bit of color. I think this was the only leaf on the whole tree that had red on it. debris on the beach

I did a bit of beach combing, but only found a flip flop and lots of black walnuts which had washed ashore.yellow leafJagged edge yellow leaf.beach debris

Bits of debris on the beach.

I’m enjoying the new camera.  Wes said the difference between the iPhone 5 and the 6S+ was like going to hi-def TV.  I must say I agree with him.  The detail in the pictures is amazing.
