I’ve been posting pictures on Instagram. It’s a neat app and there’s people from all over the world posting pictures of their lives too. I follow a few people from England and a few from Australia and New Zealand. While we are posting pictures of fall leaves and enjoying the cooler weather, the people from “down under” are posting pictures of daffodils, tulips and the gardens they are planting. Of course, there’s quilters on Instagram too, and seeing their creations is fun.
There’s all kind of different hashtags on Instagram. If I post a picture of a quilt, I’d #quilt, #quilter, #quiltblock, etc. You get the picture. The other day, I saw a hashtag #lovelydeadcrap, which made me giggle, until I looked at the pictures. They are gorgeous! There’s lots of dried flowers, colorful fall leaves, and seed pods all photographed beautifully.
So, I grabbed my Canon and took some pictures of dead stuff too.
And, while my pictures don’t hold a candle to the ones on Instagram, I can say I photographed Lovely Dead Crap too!
