Wes, Corey, Timothy scan the sky
After the whole family met at our house for breakfast on Sunday, a few of us who didn’t have other obligations, decided to walk to the Saugerties lighthouse.  Of course, we took our binoculars along and scanned the sky and trees for something interesting.  Timothy was quite taken with the whole birding idea, to the point he took one of our bird books home with him to read.  Daisy and Desi

The best part of the walk was the eagle we saw perched in a tree.  Everyone got good looks at it through the binoculars. What a magnificent bird!
