I had fully intended to take my camera outside yesterday. It was warm and the leaves are still so pretty. Somehow, I got hijacked by by sewing machine, but at least I was productive.
The top block is called Sunny Sunflower and was the easiest of the three to put together.
The second one is Sunday Morning and I only had to rip once, which is incredible with all the points to match.
This block, called Summer Star, was a beast. I spent more time ripping than sewing and heartily wished I had gone outside with my camera. Now that it’s finished, I don’t even like it all that much. The red center, which I thought went with the red in the yellow fabric, is too something–bright? dark? red? I may have to remake this one.
Like the top two. But you are right the center of the third is off.
