I stepped out on the deck to the morning glory trellis. There’s lots of dead leaves still hanging on in interesting shapes.
The stems are still twisted, but are brittle and crunchy now.
When the frost hits, we get rid of the dead plants immediately.. They’re sad looking and sad to look at, but the dead morning glories still have a grace and beauty that I don’t mind seeing out the kitchen window.
I’ll revisit them when we get the first snow.
