Wes and I spent Saturday morning getting a jump start on the Christmas cookie baking. I tried a new recipe–pistachio cookies. If everyone likes them I’ll add them to the cookie list for each year. If not, the recipe gets tossed.
The second picture is secret kiss cookies on the pan ready to be baked and a double batch of chocolate chip dough in the bowl. 
We also baked shortbread cookies, which are easy, as the dough is spread in a 13 x 9 inch pan. The last picture is the tins, stored on a table in the garage. By the time we finish baking, the table will be mostly full.
