Usually, I have a display of snowmen on the sideboard in the dining room. For the past few years, my Lego village has taken over. In January, when I put the Legos away, I’m going to put a few snowmen out, but only ones that aren’t Christmasy. Wes picked out the top snowman; he liked the look on his face. It’s a look Wes gives me a lot.
Meanwhile, it’s almost 60 degrees and there’s no hope of snow for Christmas. A quilter would have a snowman made of spools, of course.
This snowman didn’t photograph well on the tree. I found him at a yard sale this fall and just had to buy him. When I tried to hang him on the tree, I understood why the person sold him. He’s heavy, and has to be hung on a very sturdy branch, and even then, he weighs it down. Snow isn’t heavy, it must be all those books.
