First Snow

I stepped outside, all excited, with my camera yesterday morning, to get some pictures of something besides quilting projects and cookies. From inside, it didn’t look like it was precipitating, but it was raining still, so I snapped a few quick pictures and scurried back inside, not wanting to have to re-do my hair. 
The fairy garden, which was putting out new growth last week, due to the protected place on the porch, is probably now done. It may be hard to dump though, I think the soil is frozen.
OK, that’s enough snow–time to peruse the seed catalogs.
