Frigid Morning Walk

Yesterday morning was the coldest day to walk since February, 2015. I had on tights and sweatpants and still my legs were cold. But, Leslie and I are tough–we made it the full 4 miles. 
What helped distract us from how cold we were, was the beautiful frost and the sunrise. We took turns saying, “Look at that!” 
This house belongs to my neighbor, Marie. Notice the sunlight on the smoke from her chimney.
Even though it was frigid out, it was worth it.
