The heron is the last piece of the Tranquility quilt to be built separately.  Once all 28 pieces were cut out, it took about an hour to lay it out and fuse them.  Now, I can start putting the whole quilt together. Until I’m ready for the heron, he’s going to stay safely fused on the pressing sheet.
