Corey, Daisy and Desi spent Christmas in California with Daisy’s family.  Now that they’re back, we are celebrating Christmas today with them.  Wes and I spent a bit of time yesterday making our family’s favorite Christmas foods. (We don’t prepare a big dinner, just lots of appetizers)

Wes is cutting up peppers for the vegetable plate, snap peas for veggie plate

while I am stringing the pea pods. stuffed mushrooms ready to bake

We also made 40 stuffed mushrooms.

There’s several other dishes–April is bringing spinach/artichoke dip, there’s a 9 layer Mexican dip, cheese and crackers, sweet and sour meatballs and a few more. date walnut bread

Along with the cookie plate, there will be homemade date and nut bread, because I had a taste for it.  Good times with family!
