My walking buddy, Leslie, was a bit under the weather yesterday, so I walked by myself. While I missed having someone to chat with, I also was able to stop and take pictures.
There was a of ice on the roadsides from all the rain on Sunday,
looking almost like quilting patterns. 
Queen Ann’s Lace is beautiful, no matter what time of year it is.
I finally had to stop taking pictures and finish walking. It was only 19 degrees and my fingers were freezing.
Again, it was so worth getting up early.
