Jonathan asked Paul to come up and give him a hand installing the Pergo flooring.  They started off slow in the hallway and then got going like gangbusters.The saw was set up in the driveway, so for each cut one of them had to dash out into the cold. By the end of Friday with hard work, some frustration, and a few laughs, the floor is well over half done–and looking beautiful.When they pulled out the stove to put flooring under it, they took down the old, green, range hood and installed a shiny new white one.  The back splash is also being replaced, so while Jonathan was back there, he pulled a lot of it off. 
We did under estimate on the amount of flooring, so have to make a return trip to Lowe’s this morning, and then it’s back at it. Jonathan only has Saturday and Sunday yet, and then is due back at his job, so he’ll be trying to get as much done as possible this weekend.
