With the dead morning glories (lovely, dead crap) as a background, the yellow carnations cheer up a gray, winter day. I also bought a small bunch of daffodils, but only one was open. (The shadow is pretty cool, though.) The shadow is because, right now, there is a bare light bulb hanging in the kitchen. We are not ready to put up a new light and I haven’t bought it yet, because I can’t make up my mind what I want.
This daffodil and tulip arrangement was for sale in Hannaford. There also was hyacinths and the fragrance was amazing.
This yellow week, even though I haven’t participated much, is fun.
