A couple weeks ago when Bonnie and Paul came here for dinner, Bonnie brought sausage and peppers in a lovely, heavy cooking pot.  I immediately had pot envy. Last week, Wes was ordering our new Roku on Amazon and being the account is in my name, my wish list popped up.  There was the pot, so he told me to go ahead and order it.  Being I now have a new pot, I had to try a new recipe in it, specifically, lentil/quinoa chili.  One of the spices in it is a bit of cinnamon, in addition to the regular chili spices, and the whole kitchen smelled heavenly while it simmered.  I hope it tastes as good as it smelled.  If it does, we have a winner. morning sky

This is the lovely sky over Rivka Estates where Bonnie, Barbara, Liz, and I walked yesterday morning.  By the time we finished the sky was mostly cloudy, so I’m glad I snapped this picture when I did.

This is my first blog post from my new laptop.  Windows 10 is a little different from Windows 7, so I have to find my way around, but I’m making progress.
