After finishing almost completely at our house on Friday, Jonathan headed to John and Ellen’s on Saturday to shingle their roof. He worked by himself on Saturday and with his friend Jeffrey on Sunday. Wes and I watched Andrew and Natasha on Sunday and after lunch we went to see how the job was coming along. They had progressed to the last side and were speedily finishing.
While Wes and John chatted, the kids and I checked out the yard. While climbing a up a pile of logs isn’t exactly safe, it makes for a cute picture.
There are peonies coming up in their garden–a very welcome sight.
I always forget what these little purple flowers are called, but there were lots of them, intensely colored.
It’s fun exploring different yards. Sometimes I’m so tempted to stop at random strangers’ yards because they look so interesting. I wonder if I’d be allowed to blog from jail……
