The women in my Thursday night quilting group are all quilters, but they do a variety of other crafts too. On any given Thursday, there will be knitting , (like Cathy in the above pic) crocheting, embroidering, cross stitching, and, of course, quilting in various forms.
Cathy and are working on the same scarf pattern in different colors. The yarn is challenging to work with, and I, for one, will be glad to get back to stitching on a quilt.
