After dropping Andrew at pre-school on Friday, I drove to Kingston to shop. One stop was Adams for vegetables, fruits, and flowers. I only bought a few violas, as it’s too cold to plant yet. The greenhouse at Adams is overflowing with beautiful plants and it was tough to restrain myself. I kept saying, It’s too early, it’s too early.”
At home, while the sourdough was rising, or as the cookbook says, “fermenting,” I worked on my crocus block for the spring wall hanging.
This time, I made whole wheat sourdough, which we ate with homemade lentil soup, leftover from yesterday’s lunch. Next time, I’m looking at the rosemary/ olive oil sourdough. I may bake my way through the whole King Arthur cookbook.
