Wes and I, along with half of Saugerties, walked to the lighthouse on Sunday afternoon. The woods and marsh are greening up nicely. There were marsh marigolds blooming and a log in bud.
A lot of the trees were either putting out baby leaves or buds of flowers.
Branches and twigs that twist together always fascinate me.
The lighthouse. It’s always a beautiful walk. I looked for Jack in the Pulpit flowers, but I guess it is a bit early. We can look again next week.
