Wes and I drove to Chatham yesterday to Yianni’s Restaurant for lunch and to celebrate his birthday. We left home slightly hungry, and by the time we cleared the detour due to bridge repairs, and arrived at the restaurant, we were extremely hungry. We fell on the food like we hadn’t eaten in days, and, as we finished, I realized I hadn’t taken a picture for a birthday post. Our family is coming on Saturday for cake, so I will get a picture then, but if I forget, I’m sure you’ll enjoy a picture of crumbs.
Meanwhile, I am SLOWLY getting the hang of Windows 10. Every time I try something, we both have to sit and figure it out. I don’t know whether it’s a case of old brains/new technology or the fact that I’m mostly computer illiterate, but it is a struggle. Progress is being made though, I can now edit and resize pictures on the computer without going to an editing website.
The top picture is the lily of the valley shooting up leaves and flower buds. They have grown amazingly in the past two days.
This shot is the lilac buds, which are usually in full bloom by Mother’s Day. I think they’ll make it.
