Wes and I walked back out to the lighthouse on Monday morning, mainly to see if Jack in the pulpits were blooming. We hadn’t walked twenty feet down the path yet and found them.

Twin jacks in the pulpit

Two different colors of them!

Large fiddlehead

There was large fiddle heads too.

Buds

Pretty yellow buds against the dark tree trunk.

Low tide

It was really low tide.

"Lighthouse

I was able to walk down the stairs and quite a ways out on the rocks to get a totally different angle on the lighthouse.

Nature planter

This is my favorite picture of the day.  It’s a hollowed out log that Mother Nature planted as a fairy garden.

Every time we take the lighthouse walk we discover something new.
