On Saturday, we babysat Natasha and Andrew. Wes and I had planned to go to the community wide yard sale in Glasco and the kids were excited to come along. We visited a few houses and then stopped at the little park in Glasco on the river for a snack.
Of course, the playground had to be experienced. Notice Natasha’s long legs on the rocket. She’s grown a bit since she was last at this park.
Pone of the yard sale items that they desperately wanted was this Mardi Gras mask. Unfortunately, it was made of plaster of Paris, so it probably wouldn’t have survived the trip home.
Natasha did find a pretty necklace and a craft kit, while Andrew came home with a long rubber snake and an Optimus Prime superhero all for the total price of $1.00. I bought a Pyrex pie plate for $2.00 and Wes bought a mint plant for $.50. We spent more for lunch and ice cream, but that’s the fun of visiting yard sales—you never know…….
