In past years, we have bought corn on the cob from Florida in May and it’s been quite good. Not middle of summer, fresh from Story Farms good, but relatively enjoyable, especially when it’s a vegetable we haven’t had for nine months. So, I was looking forward to dinner last night, but my happy anticipation was in vain.
Now I can’t wait until summer.
