Last week I had my eyes examined, and since my glasses are over two years old, it’s time for a new pair. Like any Libra though, I find it difficult to make decisions about everything. (Just ask Wes about the paint decision for the hallway.) The lady who was helping me select my new glasses finally suggested I take a few favorites home and ask family members and friends their opinions. Natasha and Andrew not only wanted to give their opinions, they wanted to try them on too. How cute are they!
On Sunday, Natasha wanted to make her favorite bread: whole wheat oatmeal cinnamon. Once again, she did the 10 minute kneading and we put it to rise. After the rising, we divided the dough in half and shaped it into loaves.
Here’s the dough ready for the oven.
By the time the bread was baked, Jonathan had arrived to pick up the kids, so we cut the bread, and everyone had a warm bread and butter snack. Natasha took the second loaf home with her and I completely forgot to get a picture of the bread fresh from the oven. This is what’s left of the first loaf. It was really good, as you can see.
Kids are great! Natasha did a wonderful job kneading the bread! No air holes!
