Even though it was a bit drizzly when Leslie and I walked yesterday morning, there was much to admire as we completed our 4 mile jaunt. My neighbor’s lacy iris is as fragrant as it is pretty.
In a few days he’s also going to have a lot of peonies.
There was a bunch of these wild flowers along Blue Mountain Road. They are tiny, but made up for their lack of size by being plentifulThe bit of bright light shining through the trees made this wild flower look like there was several different shades purple on one stem.
Being surrounded by all this beauty definitely makes our walk more enjoyable, but there’s nothing that can help the Van Buskirk Road hill.
Play music going up the hill! Flowers are pretty.
