About a year ago, I bought a cheapie spiralizer, used it a couple of times, and then put it away. It was difficult to use and a pain to clean so it wasn’t worth the hassle. I still liked the idea of spiralizing and when I saw a recipe on Facebook, I took a look at it. In the article was an Amazon link to a different spiralizer that the author highly recommended.
It works wonderfully. We tried all three blades on the zucchini, getting wide flat ribbons and thick and thin “spaghetti”. It cooked fast, in a bit of olive oil. We sprinkled salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese on it, and it made a delicious side dish. The long screw looking veggie on the right side of the picture is what’s left after spiralizing the zucchini. Most of the seeds were in the center.
April, however, ate what was left from spiralizing the carrots.
