On Sunday morning, Wes, Timothy, and I met Corey, Daisy, and Desi at the Bronx Zoo. It was a perfect day– warm in the sun, breezy and no humidity. Timothy and Desi are checking out the zoo map with interested prairie dogs watching.
There’s tons of stuff for kids to do, including trying on big ears.
We went on a bug carousel, riding caterpillars, beetles, and bees instead of horses.
Im not sure if the adults or kids enjoyed it more.
We went in the butterfly house, the mouse house, ( all different kinds and sizes of rodents from all over the world), and the reptile house, ( snakes and other crawlies). We saw giraffes, zebras, gorillas with babies and much, much more, but we didn’t see the whole zoo.
We’re saving the rest for a return visit.
We finished the day with a delicious dinner at a local Italian restaurant before heading home. Good times.
Glad you all had a good time!
