I dragged Wes to the “junk in the trunk” flea market at St. John’s church on Saturday. Sometimes when we go, there’s nothing that appeals to me, but yesterday, I hit the jackpot. The windmill sugar and creamer are from Holland, and since I’m Dutch, they had to come home with me. At the very next vendor, there was a teacup in the same pattern for only $1.00!
For another dollar, I found this tiny teacup in a beautiful blue pattern.
The best find, though, was this Pyrex bowl. Pyrex is very collectible right now and it’s not easy to find pieces at reasonable prices. This medium sized, 2 1/2 quart bowl was $3.00– a really good deal.
The last item I found is this polka dot fruit bowl originally from Pampered chef, where I’m sure it was a lot more expensive than the $3.00 I paid.
New treasures–now to find storage room.
Nice finds! Don’t dare because I have no room!
