Wes and I took Natasha and Andrew to the movies yesterday afternoon to see The Secret Life of Pets. There was a show at 2pm and one at 2:30. We didn’t realize the 2pm show was in 3D until we arrived there. I have never seen a 3D picture and the kids thought the glasses were cool, so we bought the tickets.
3D was a fun experience. It felt like we were right in the scene with birds flying over our heads, and, at one point, a snake coming out of the screen right at our faces. We all laughed a lot at the movie, Andrew especially, with frequent belly laughs.
The kids didn’t even seem to miss the popcorn as we stopped at Jolly Cow for a treat on the way home. I’ll take ice cream over movie popcorn anytime.
