Except for Wes’s desk and the cats, the family room is empty. My sewing stuff is distributed throughout the house–dining room, spare bedroom and garage. Jonathan will come this morning to rip up the rug and remove the paneling. He’ll spackle, paint, (walls, ceiling and trim with my inexpert help) and install a new floor like we have in the kitchen and hallway.
It’s going to be light filled and cozy.
Now to decide on a paint color.
