Friday night, Wes and I went out for bite to eat and then stopped at Seamon’s Park. I was hunting Pokemon, but we ended up just walking around and looking at the flowers.
The cleomes were in full bloom. They always strike me as being unkempt, a slightly messy flower, but pretty with their two tone colors.
Another lily, lovely in pastel,
contrasts with this vibrant, outspoken one.
I’ve always enjoyed Seamon’s Park in the spring for the daffodils and tulips and in the fall for the mums, but didn’t visit in the summer as there are lots of flowers blooming everywhere. Friday night, I discovered it’s gorgeous in the summer too.
