At precisely 7:20 yesterday morning, our phone rang, and the voice on the other end said, “Hi Sis, I’m at the Malden Hot Shoppe. Would you come pick me up?”
Rich is a long distance trucker and had a delivery to make in Massachusetts on Monday morning.
I immediately called Bonnie and Paul and we all had coffee together, then we planned an early dinner, as Rich wanted to leave around 6pm.
It was wonderful seeing Rich and catching up on family news. We shared laughs and memories over the course of the day and over dinner.
You never know when you wake up in the morning what the day will bring. Sunday , it brought my brother.
