Keeping the kids occupied when the humidity is stifling is a challenge. Natasha is sitting in my comfy chair embroidering.
Andrew is playing Webkinz on the computer. Being he doesn’t read yet, he gets himself in some interesting situations in Webkinz land.
Natasha presented Aunt April with her pillow.
Timothy and Andrew watching (God help us) wrestling, which, of course, led to practicing what they were watching. I was fearful for my lamps and the cats were cowering in the family room.
Then, April took Timothy and Natasha to the movies to see Pete’s Dragon. We felt the movie might be a little intense for Andrew, so he stayed with me.
He wasn’t upset at all about staying home. He practiced his wrestling moves, solo, and when he tired of that, he picked out a beach towel to use after a dip in the pool. Evidently, testing out the softness of the towels before swimming is of the utmost importance.
We also had a tent built over the dining room table, bread baking, and English muffin pizzas for lunch.
Hot summer days and hopefully, good memories.
Wonderful summer day! Natasha is quite the girl! Yes I ‘m sure they will have great memories of being at Grandma’s and Bumpy’s house!
