On Saturday, I took a class from Sue Pritt at the Log Cabin quilt shop in Selkirk. Sue is a wonderful teacher, easy going and extremely knowledgeable. I had prepared my backgrounds at home
and had all the pieces cut out to appliqué.
With a half hour out for lunch, I sewed pretty steadily from 9:30 to 3, completing all the appliqué and machine quilting on both wall hangings, leaving just the binding to finish.
I think I’m going to hang them next to each other. I like the idea of the same scene at two different times of the day.
