Yesterday afternoon, I completed one of the 5 quilts that I’m hand sewing binding on. This one is a twin sized quilt for one of the beds in the second guest room. I found the fabric in Patti’s quilt shop in Lake George last spring and fell in love with it. One of the ladies at the retreat showed a pretty baby quilt at show and tell, and told me she had gotten the pattern from the Missouri Star Quilt Co on-line. I watched the tutorial for the pattern and then drafted it bigger. I also had to buy a bit more fabric as what I had bought in Lake George was just because I liked it, not with a specific quilt in mind. Now, I have to make a second twin quilt for the other bed. I’m going to use the same fabrics, but a different pattern. That project is being saved for the November retreat.
Very pretty!
