Friday was a day for baking. Sourdough bread takes a long time to rise, but it’s not a lot of work. I just have to be available when it needs to be worked with. Otherwise, it’s left alone. This is whole wheat sourdough with sunflower seeds and it’s one I make often because it’s so yummy.Plum breadAllrecipes.com sends me a daily email with recipes of the day.  This plum bread was in Thursday’s email and I immediately know I wanted to make it.  One of the reviewers said the combination of sweet bread and tart plums was delicious.  It’s still cooling as I write this post, but it looks promising.

My sourdough starter is now back in the fridge for another week, waiting for me to decide what to bake next.
