I spread my current quilt project on the family room floor, planning to use the bright light from the sliding glass doors, to select the thread colors to edge stitch the water lilies. Maizie immediately snuggled under the quilt, but had come out by the time I grabbed my camera.
I guess she figured she would be more helpful if she was on top of the quilt.
She kept changing her position, trying to get in the perfect spot to be the most help.
She finally decided that being close to the thread box was the best place as it was
easiest to reach all the rolling spools that way. I only let her have the spools long enough to take the picture. Thread is dangerous for cats to play with and I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of sewing with cat spit covered thread.
Very cute Maizie! Beautiful quilt!
