When Jonathan asked me what I’d like for my birthday, I took him by the hand and led him into our downstairs bathroom. I told him it needed it painting and he readily agreed. Yesterday afternoon, Jonathan called and asked if he could paint on Sunday. Wes and I picked up the paint in Smith’s Hardware an hour later,and now we’re all set for Sunday. I just have to come with an idea for lunch (and reschedule a trip to a quilt show with Cathy).
