We thoroughly enjoyed the apple pie we bought at the church book/chili/pie sale last weekend (thanks, Janice!). Being we still had apples left from our picking excursion, I tried my hand at a pie.
It has been quite a few years since I’ve made an apple pie. Our family seems to prefer apple crisp. I used the recipe from the Katsbaan Church cookbook for apple crumb pie
and it came out delicious!
