Late Thursday afternoon, I was on my way to pick up Cathy to go to our quilting group, and I had to pull over and snap a picture. The sky was breathtaking.
Five minutes later, as I pulled into Cathy’s driveway, the sky had changed, from gold to oranges and pinks. We stood, watching it together, until the color had faded to gray, then headed into Kingston for a quick dinner before quilting. We needed food for our tummies, but our souls were already full.
