It was still getting light at 7am yesterday morning, but someone had been out even earlier than I was.
I suppose you could say that even cars leave “footsteps.”
An hour later, as Leslie and I were finishing our walk, we spooked a small flock of turkeys into flight. A bit farther down the road, we could see where they had crossed.
It’s kind of neat to see all the tracks, human and otherwise, in my small neighborhood. Another hour and the tracks were totally gone. I’m so glad I got up early.
