Last summer, Wes and I spent a Saturday visiting yard sales. I’m always after vintage Pyrex and anything else that catches my eye, while Wes tries to keep me under control. His favorite question is, “Where are you going to store it?”
It was my turn to ask the question when he found these deer, but I’m glad he brought them home. We had a bit of trouble keeping them upright when it got windy (and figured that’s why the people sold them—very cheaply, may I add) but since standing each one next to a tree, they haven’t tipped over once. However, with 60 mph gusts predicted for this afternoon and tonight, we may have to tie them to the trees or bring them in until the fierce wind is over.
Reindeer are supposed to fly.
