When I heard that snow was predicted for Thursday, I stopped at Joann’s Fabrics foe a half yard of fusible fleece. I had wanted to try making one of these zipper bags and a snow day was a perfect opportunity.  I followed a step by step blog tutorial from Klee 2 strings and still managed to make good use of my seam ripper,

Fabric pouch

but persevered and finally finished it. If I make another, it will go much faster since I made all the mistakes on the first one.  I’m going to use it to transport my scissors and rotary cutters when I travel with my sewing supplies.  It’s big enough to hold them all, and sturdy too.
