Bonnie, Katie, Laura, and I have bus tickets from Saugerties to the Women’s march in Washington on January 21st. Katie and I have been busy this weekend knitting pussy hats for us to wear at the march. According to the pussy hat project website they aim to “provide the people of the women’s march on Washington DC a means to make a unique collective visual statement which will help activists be heard better.”
The hats knit up fairly quickly and they will help keep us warm. That’s a win/win in my book, and if they make a statement too, all the better.
